Developed to get you fishing anywhere & everywhere. These telescoping fly rods route the line internally to let you travel with your fly tied on, ready to fish at a moment's notice - just extend and cast. By removing the guides on the outside of the rod it also lets you pack all the fragile sections of the rod inside the handle to protect them in travel and create a compact package, leaving you with a rigged and ready fly rod that fits in almost any backpack or where you need it. I love this fly rod! See the performance chart below that compares this rod to a traditional fly rod and tenkara style as it pulls design features from each one.
It is not a traditional fly rod, but fishes and casts like one. It is not a tenkara rod, but packs down smaller than most. It casts further than a tenkara but not quite as far as traditional. It is our take on a fly rod to help you travel easier and get on the water faster.
This rod fishes at 7ft long, and uses a blend of both fiberglass and graphite to offer slower more supple action than our other rods. We also worked on the overall weight and pack size on this rod to get it down to 16.5 inches collapsed and just 6.5 oz for the Rod + Reel + Line assembly. This internal-lined, telescoping rod throws traditional rod design out the window. We are offering you a simple full-function fly fishing kit that takes a little from both tenkara-style and traditional rods. You may not cast as far as those traditional rods but you will definitely be on the water faster with a 30-second setup - and we all know it is the FIRST CAST that counts! Each rod is shipped already set up minus the fly tied on!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do you setup and use the rod? Rod comes with line fed through it and all you need to do is open it up and take a cast, see video HERE
What if I pull the line out of the rod? You can feed it back through by following this little method, see video HERE
Does the reel flip from RIGHTY to LEFTY crank? YEP! flip the bearing on the reel and spool the line the other way if you have the wrong direction crank reel See video HERE on how to do it
Can I change the reel or line once I get it? Yes these can be changed however you like, but we recommend staying with our line as we worked with engineers and industry experts to make specifically this line work well in the rod
Can I use the rod in saltwater? Yep! we would just recommend you take off the butt cap and rinse out the inside when you get home
I got my rod stuck open, what do I do? You don't need much force to secure the rod open, but if it does get stuck at full length a twist of each section is usually most effective, if not bump the bottom of the rod on a solid surface to try and coax it loose
Do you sell replacement tips and parts? We cover any parts that are defective or broken in normal use free of charge, just show us a picture of what happened and we will work with you to replace what is broken. If your dog ate it or you slammed it in a car door though, we have a section where you can buy replacement parts HERE
