On an epic steelhead fly fishing trip to British Columbia, two old friends J.T. Van Zandt and Alex "Xenie" Hall, rediscover their friendship despite their differences. J.T., the thoughtful, even-keeled son a of a songwriting legend believes there's more to fishing than catching fish. Short-tempered Xenie sees it differently, and fishes like it's a race against the clock.
An exploration of life in the disappearing wilderness of the West, Low & Clear unfolds with moments of humor and tension, success and failure. The cinematography is outstanding, one of the best I've seen in fly fishing films. Also included is great footage of Xenie catching monster trout in Colorado and J.T. catching redfish on the coast of Texas.
One extra feature I really appreciated was the "clean language" version. If you don't care to hear the 4-letter words, you can choose this option the film makers have provided.
