For the ultimate small stream experience, this is the smallest practical fly rod and reel combo available.
If you enjoy fishing smaller streams or ponds, this rod is a blast – a 10" headwater brookie feels like a lunker! This rod and reel can handle the big fish too; we have testimonials of 20"+ trout caught on our mini-rods. Combo includes a custom-designed graphite rod and matching 2" diameter machined aluminum reel loaded with a tapered floating fly line, backing, tapered leader and a quality rod/reel carrying case (case ~21 inches long). This a great choice for any experienced angler looking for some fun. This is also a great first rod for a younger fly angler, as the length and weight are well matched to a youngster's height and strength.
